Born in Stockholm, Sweden, 1957
 
1973-1980 1973-1980 Studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, with professor Mogens Ellegaard.
1980-1982 1980-1982 Private lessons with professor Elsbeth Moser, Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover.
1975-1991 Teaching in music schools.
 

As a soloist, Marie Wärme has performed in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Italy, Poland and Russia.

TV-productions in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Italy.
Theatre-productions at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, The Theatre School in Stockholm and The Nutcracker Drama School in Copenhagen.
1994

Founded “Wärme-Quartet”.
Concerts with the quartet in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Italy, China, France, Latvia and on the Faroe Islands.
Radio-productions in Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Italy and on the Faroe Islands.
TV-productions in USA, China and Italy.

Marie Wärme is also a member of the big band “14 Red Ladies”, the tango orchestra “Más Tango!”, “Chæg Kompagniet” and of “Duo Aksak”, for which the repertoire is music from Turkey and the Middle East.

Teacher and leader of the Music department at Kofoeds School in Copenhagen.

Pedagogical leader of Svendborg Music School

Member of the artistic direction of the Suså Festival, for contemporary Danish Music.
